Ten schools participated in the Boys Varsity 5K race. Texas took 2nd place with Joe Cardenas (10) taking 2nd place overall with a blistering time of 17:33, a new PR and school record. Completing the team of five were: Gabriel Veit (12), Andrew Ramirez (12), Brody Vukmonich (9), and Tarique Sylvester (11). All posting PRs. Tarique Sylvester continued his hot streak of 7 straight PRs!!!
The Texas Girls Cross-Country team finished in 6th place out of 9 teams in the 2-mile race with the top 5 team runners: Yasmin Watkins (12), Jordan Leach (9), Kailin Campbell (11), Tiffany Sellers (12), Brianna Matias (12). Jaida Scott (10) chose to do the 5K race and posted a time of 23:48.
