The TSD Rangers wrapped up week 7 of the Cross Country season by competing at the Brentwood Christian School Invitational. Our varsity girls team competed in a competitive 2 mile race that included several local schools as well as schools from the Houston area. Patricia Sucilla-Orozco & Jessica Fontana improved their 2 mile race time by running a season best while Kristen Medrano fell short of reaching a new season best & Erin Collins was unable to compete. Our varsity boys team competed in a competitive 5k race that was compiled with schools from the Austin area. Arturo Merchan, Hawkins Morgan & Gage Hooper improved their 5k race times by running their season best times for a 5k while Lorenzo Urrutia was DQ for running the wrong course. Overall the Running Rangers are on the right path - they're seeing their hard work from practices payoff with the results of knowing they ran a season best.
