We played at the Brentwood Bestpack Invitational tournament this past weekend and our girls played well considering most of them only had four practices after volleyball season ended. We opened against Brentwood and had a nail-biter, winning in overtime 38-36. (Brentwood is the same team we lost to in the Final Four last year) The second game we faced a solid Rosehill Christian (5-1) team and beat them 50-20. In the championship game, we played against Boerne Geneva (5-1) and won 41-9. Our defense was a highlight of the tournament, getting plenty of recognition from other coaches.
