Varsity Volleyball at Spike Out XVIII

We went undefeated in pool play, enabling us to be seeded #1 in bracket play. We opened with playing against Fremont in semifinals. We won 2-0 (25-10, 25-15).

We played against Maryland for the championship. It was a see-saw battle all throughout the match.  We took the first set, 25-16 but Maryland won the 2nd set, 21-25.  The third and last set, we came away with 15-13, giving us the championship!  Congratulations to our girls!

We were always good in the past few years, this year is not any much different.  We lost only 1 starter from last year's squad.  Just that our girls have gained game-playing experience.

Our strength for this year is DEFENSE, our attacking schemes and serving. We defeated Indiana and Maryland with our defense because we took away their power hitting game.  When they started to dink and roll hits, that's when our hitting game started to step up a notch.

Congratulations to the girls and coaches!
