Temperatures were slightly cooler than normal as there was cloud cover then a 10-minute downpour at the end of the boys JV 5K, which created an exciting end to a great morning of racing!
Ashley Harlicker, 9, established a new TSD XC 2-mile Record, with her time of 16:10, from the Ranger Time Trial, 8/31, and breaking her own record this past Saturday, 9/10, with a time of 15:24. The former record stood for 3 years. Jordan Leach, 9, set a new 5K record with a time of 35:08 at the Ranger Time Trial on 8/31.
Joe Cardenas, 10, broke a 4-year old record in the Ranger Time Trail, 8/31, with a 5K time of 21:41, then broke his own record on 9/10, with a time of 19:22. Joe also ran in the New Braunfels XC Invitational on 9/3 and established a new record for the boys 2-mile run with a time of 11:20.
