TSD Senior guard, Elonzo Arellano, is the 9th member of the Ranger 1,000-point Club.

For the first time in six seasons, Elonzo Arellano has become the newest member of the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers Basketball's elite 1,000-point club in boys' basketball. Jairo De Leon ('06-'10) was the last player who hit this milestone during the year of 2009-2010.

Elonzo Arellano surpassed the 1,000-point career mark with a jump shot in the 1st quarter in Friday's game against River City Believers Academy in San Marcos. Elonzo became the 9th player since the 1960's to score at least 1,000 points.
