The Texas School for the Deaf Rangers suffered their first defeat, a 43‐6 loss to Lake Country Christian High School.

The Rangers struggled to get their offense going, a first this year as the Rangers scored 48 and 52 in their previous two games. The Rangers also gave up their first defensive touchdown of the season, allowing 43 points.
Junior Alvin Anthony was contained to 50 yards rushing on 10 attempts. He flashed his speed and play-­‐making ability during his three kick returns for a total of 107 yards and one touchdown, the lone score for the Rangers. Junior quarterback Elonzo Arellano threw for 34 yards and one interception. Senior Iosif Shayman recorded 34 yards on two catches. Shayman also led the team in tackles with six. Juniors Jian Bergerson and Justin Akers, and sophomore Zachary Richardson each had one sack.

The Rangers look to get back on track at home this week facing Faith Academy (0-­‐3) who they lost to last year 50-­‐6, on Friday, September 26th at 7pm.
