What is the Runnin’ Bison Fundamental Basketball Camp?

The clinic offers a challenging and accessible format of fundamental instruction via American Sign Language (ASL) for deaf, hard of hearing, hearing, and CODA players. Participants will have the opportunity to develop, refine, and expand their games through drills, games, and activities. We focus on the essential knowledge and skills needed to become fundamentally-sound players.

Camp Information:

Who: Boys and Girls, Age 10-18
When: June 22 to June 27
Where: Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX)

Fee: Early Bird registration before May 16:
Age 10-18 or HS Seniors
Day Campers: $175
Residential Campers: $195 (limited space)

Regular registration after May 16: Add $25

Other:
Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, Hearing, CODA, and/or non-TSD students are all welcome.

Coach Brendan Stern is entering his 3rd year as the head coach of Gallaudet men’s basketball after serving as the men’s assistant coach for three years.

Coach Brian Sipek is entering his 5th year as the head coach of the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) Varsity Girls basketball team.

Coach Chris Hamilton has 20+ years of experience as head coach.
