TSD High School swimmers showcased their talents at the TAPPS Regional Swim Meet in San Antonio on Monday, January 29. Despite it being their first experience at such a high-caliber event, all participants achieved end-of-season personal records (PR’s), a testament to their dedication and hard work. The three swimmers representing TSD are as follows:
- Juwaun Chapell-Montano achieved a PR in the 50 Free (37.73, down by 5 seconds) and the 100 Free (1:32.82, down by 15 seconds).
- Oliver Jin set a PR in the 50 Free (32.29, down by 1 second) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:34.75, down by 2 seconds).
- Jaylen Pounds accomplished a PR in the 50 Free (39.68, down by 1 second) and the 100 Free (1:25.95, down by 8 seconds).
As the team approaches the conclusion of another swim season, a special acknowledgment goes to these outstanding swimmers. Their remarkable performances set the stage for the final High School Swim Meet scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at St. Stephen’s. Congratulations to the entire TSD High School Swim Team!
