Due to the large senior class that exited last year and the devastating Covid-19 pandemic that has not only impacted us, but the entire world, the Rangers football program decided to make a switch from 11-man football to 6-man football. This marked the first time in TSD history that the Rangers football team would play 6-man football. Making the switch to 6-man football has been quite the challenge for our program due to Covid-19.
With the capacity restrictions put into place with our weight room and athletic facility, we’ve had to overcome many scheduling conflicts to make sure our boys were prepared for a full football season. However, these changes never changed how we approached the game. Our bond is still strong, we still hit hard, and our hearts are still big. We had an eight game season scheduled with six of the eight being district games. In our first season as a 6-man football program, I’m proud to announce that we are district champions and we are fully prepared to make a strong run to the State Championship! Go Rangers!
