Winter Swim Meets Return!

 

TSD hosts its first swim meets in 2021 after suspended its swim meets at the start of 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns. The first 2 swim meets of 2021 had large numbers of swimmers reminiscent of pre-2019 numbers, which was great to see and experience again.

Our first 2021 MS/HS swim meet, TSD Kick-Off Swim Meet, was held on Thursday, November 11 involving the following teams: Regents, St. Stephens, Veritas, Brentwood Christian, St. Ignatius, and TSD. The following TSD HS students competed: Zami Thompson, Makayla Brister, Jacob Ames, Gage Hopper, Skyler Withrow. All are returning swimmers from the previous year whether having swum for MS or HS. Glad to have them all back! Zami Thompson joined the boys relay team of Skyer Withrow, Gage Hopper, and Jacob Ames. They swam an exhibition relay so that all would have that opportunity.

Our 2nd 2021 MS/HS swim meet, TSD Holiday Swim Meet, was held on Saturday, December 11, included 13 swim teams from the surrounding Austin Area, with about 150+ swimmers competing, much like we had prior to 2019. The following TSD HS Swimmers competed:
